We’re looking at another social network focused on audio that can help you promote and market your podcast. This week, we are talking with Yitzchac ‘Issy’ Livian, Vice President of Business Development, Executive Director, and co-founder of the Hear Me Out app.
The Hear Me Out app is essentially Instagram for audio. You record up to 42 seconds of audio, add some cool filters to the sound, and then publish it in a timeline that you share with followers. Unlike Instagram, you can include links in your description which mean you can tease out episodes and bring people back to your podcast.
The reason we were interested in chatting about the Hear Me Out app is that they already have podcasters who are using it as a marketing tool with some success.
We were also really fascinated by the car integration and the ability to record while driving. (Safely of course). Also, they have some exciting features for the car that you might find to be very cool.
Now, this is not the first time we have talked about social networks of audio, but we do think that Hear Me Out has designed a pretty intuitive and easy-to-use. Take it for a spin and see for yourself.
